For operative cover of Pheochromocytoma.
Management of severe shock.
To control episodes of hypertension.
As adjuvant in the management of urinary retention due to
a neurogenic bladder or prostatic hypertrophy.
Treatment of Peripheral vascular disorder due to vasospasm.

Pheochromocytoma : 1mg/kg intravenously in 200ml of 0.9%
NaCl,
infused over atleast
2 hours.
Pulmonary Hypertension : 0.05 to 1mg/kg body wt.
Renally Impaired Patients : Use with caution. |
