Primary treatment of Ovarian Cancer : 175mg/m2 IV over a period of 3 hours, followed by Cisplatin 75mg/m2, with a 3 week interval between courses. Paclitaxel should be used at a dose of 135mg/m2, administered IV over 3 hours followed by Cisplatin 75mg/m2. The infusion should be repeated every 3 weeks.
Secondary treatment of Ovarian Cancer and Breast Cancer : 175mg/m2 IV over a period of 3 hours every three weeks.
Patients who experience severe neutropenia (neutrophil < 500 cells/mm3) or severe peripheral neuropathy should receive a dosage reduced by 20% for subsequent courses.
Kaposi's sarcoma : 135mg/m2 IV over a period of 3 hours, with a 3 week interval between courses, or, 100mg/m2 IV over a period of 3 hours with a 2 week interval between courses.
Both regimens result in comparable dosing intensity (45-50mg/m2/week).
Primary treatment of NSCLC : 175mg/m2 IV over a period of 3 hours, followed by a platinum compound, with a 3 week interval between courses.
