The common dosage schedule is 60-75 mg/m2 as a single intravenous injection administered every 3 weeks.
Alternative dosage schedule which has been reported to produce a lower incidence of congestive heart failure is a weekly dose of 20 mg/m2.
Another dose of 20-30 mg/m2 given daily for 3 days, repeated every 3-4 weeks has also been used.
Doxorubicin dose should be reduced in case of hyperbilirubinemia as
