The recommended dosages are :
Adult
Uncomplicated UTI (Acute Cystitis) : 500 mg OD for 3 days.
Complicated UTI : 1000 mg OD for 7-14 days.
Acute Uncomplicated (Pyelonephritis) : 1000 mg OD for 7-14 days.
Paediatric
Complicated UTI or Pyelonephritis : 10mg/kg - 20mg/kg BID upto 10-21 days.
Inhalational Anthrax : 15mg/kg BID upto 60days.
Renally Impaired Patients :
